After almost 1.5yrs on Wegovy, I'm now suffering from side effects which have me exploring other options - Reta?

Currently on 1mg Wegovy (intermittently - not weekly) & started having issues (GI, food noise etc), so considering Reta. Has anyone had less side effects for making the switch?

I’ve been on Wegovy now for almost a year and a half (1mg doses) initially for weight loss, then wanted to keep it in my life due to the impulse control it was tempering, so would only inject every 3-5 weeks (as my weight came down to a desirable level also).

I’m finding now in the last 2 months that I have symptoms I never used to have: nausea the day or 2 after injecting (also had vomiting), the WORST GI issues for almost a week (until I took one course of Imodium and stop-gas).. but the appetite is well and truly back, as is over indulging in things I had a lid on (I drank way less when in the first year on it). The kgs are creeping back on as a result.

I’m considering switching over to Reta and was hoping to have some feedback from anyone who may have experienced similar symptoms from a semaglutide after a while (wegovy/ozempic etc) and then made a successful switch to Reta.

Please let me know your thoughts and anything else I should consider 🙏
