I don't mean songs that feature mandolin on the recording, I mean things that didn't originally have a mandolin, but sound good played on the mandolin.

What's your favorite?

A coach we know reached out to me, inviting my son to a "prep baseball" (https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/) event in our state. This coach is affiliated with the organization, and seems to think my son has a good chance of making some state team that will go to compete in a tournament down south this summer. Son is 15U, RPH, varsity starter as a freshman, throwing mid-80s.

I look at this and I see a 16-18 pitch bullpen, some trackman data we don't need (already have access to Rapsodo), and a t-shirt for $325.

I don't know if these events are legitimate paths to getting on recruiters' radar, or an effort to separate me from my money.

Advice?
