Catchy EDM song with Mario 1-UP Mushroom-sounding samples

When I was a little kid, I remember sitting in the back of my parent’s car and a pretty catchy song was playing on the radio and I heard some soundbites that sounded like the 1-UP Mushroom from Mario. The song had to have been made somewhere in the early 2000s or 2010s, but that’s all I know. I have no idea what the song is called nor who the artist is, so literally any help is appreciated.

Messages not saving

I’m having an issue with the responses on my bots. It’ll type out a message no problem, but it won’t actually save the message and let me respond. The stop button doesn’t work either when it happens. Just hoping this gets fixed soon.

Edit: It seems to be fixed for me, but I hope the rest of you aren’t still dealing with it.

The Dark Side of Gold Mario

I’m sure you know about the Gold Flower from New Super Mario Bros 2, right? If Mario grabs it, his body turns into pure gold and he gains the ability to turn anything he shoots into coins.

However, have you ever wondered what happens to the enemies that Mario turns into gold? Most people would say “you just get some coins, whatever”.

That didn’t happen to me.

Here’s what happened. I was playing World 2-1 and I went to get the Gold Flower like normal. Everything was going fine at first, I was turning bricks into coins, the usual.

But, when I turned a Koopa into gold, I heard a scream come from my 3DS. I thought I was just hearing things, so I did the same to a Goomba, but it happened again, the same deafening scream.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that the enemies were screaming after being turned into coins. Despite everything, I felt compelled to finish the level.

By the time I got to the end, all I could hear were the screams of the enemies I killed. I touched the flagpole and all of the screams suddenly stopped, the usual victory theme played.

Feeling creeped out, I went back to the title screen, but of course, on the title screen is a pile of the coins that you’ve collected in your playthrough. The screams returned.

I had reached a horrible epiphany, every enemy that you turn into coins, their souls are trapped in the coins, screaming for their lives.

So, now that you know the truth, maybe you’ll think twice about turning the living creatures into currency in your New Super Mario Bros 2 game.

How I Destroyed my Mario 64 DS Cartridge

So, this is a pretty short story, but it’s so stupid all the while.

I was maybe 5 or 6 and I was playing Super Mario 64 DS, but my little kid brain hatched an idea. No joke, I thought to myself: “I wonder if this’ll play on my TV, I’ll put it in the DVD player and see what happens.”

So, I quite literally put the cartridge into my DVD player and to no surprise, it ate the cartridge. Not just that though, the disc tray wouldn’t open at all and I basically broke the DVD player.

Needless to say, my parents were not happy with me, especially my dad. Even to this day, I’m still mad at myself for doing that and I regret ever doing it.

I prefer older women more

Just gonna cut to the chase, I’m way more into older women than girls my age or even boys in general. I just imagine them holding me close and cuddling me. I like that they’re taller than me too, I like feeling smaller and vulnerable. Maybe this is all because I have some mommy issues, I’m not sure. I also have a lot more trust in women than I do in men, but that’s a whole other discussion. I am marking this as NSFW because I do imagine an older woman pinning me down and being a gentle dom.

Minus the blood on Mario.EXE, I think these look pretty believable lol

Is anyone else getting these weird messages where there’s just no text? If you’re a mobile user and have the haptics on, you can definitely tell that something is being typed out, but there’s nothing there. Is anyone dealing with this on computers or is it just the app?

So, this happened when I was maybe 4 or 5 and I had one of those old SpongeBob Plug and Play consoles that I would play all the time (it was the one with the jellyfish controller if you want specifics). I think because I played the console so much, I had a nightmare about it. I was playing it like normal, but then a distorted version of SpongeBob with bloody eyes came out of the TV holding a knife. Strangely, everything felt like it was in slow motion, and yet SpongeBob was catching up to me. I tried to get away and run downstairs, but SpongeBob got me and I woke up instantly. I have no idea how I dreamed such a thing as I hadn’t been exposed to creepypastas yet.

Now, before I get hassled in the comments by my childish title, I’d like to point out that I’m 18, autistic, and still living at my parents’. I just wanted to share a personal achievement regarding wasps. So, this happened a week maybe two weeks ago. I was making my little brother some lunch since I was babysitting, and I see a wasp flying around, just a pretty common paper wasp. I immediately go for the zapper racket thing and start trying to shock it, but I was so scared that I kept missing. Finally, I got a good hit on it and knocked it on the floor. The only problem is now I couldn’t find the thing, and I still had to feed my little brother. So, I bring him out to have lunch, and I’m still keeping an eye out for this wasp cause I don’t want it to sting me or my little brother. And literally as soon as I put him back in his room, I see the wasp flying around the kitchen again. I finally pinned it against a lightbulb and shocked it, sending it falling right onto a pan in the sink. Thinking that’s the end of it, I went to put the zapper back, but then I literally saw a yellow jacket just hanging out on the front door. So, I grab the zapper again and shocked it and threw it outside. Then, I grabbed a napkin and grabbed the other wasp and threw it outside too. Mind you, my mom was at work and my dad was asleep in the other room, so I was on my own. That whole thing left me with so much adrenaline even after killing the wasps. Anyway, sorry for rambling on, I just really like explaining things in detail.
