Previous car was a 2017 330i, just moved to a 2026 540i.

Did a ton of research leading up to it and primarily considered the m340 as well.

I was really surprised to see the very strong online hate for this car, but it really fit what I wanted [somewhat of a middle ground between fast/agile + commute comfortable + able to fit my family].

I was able to get a great spec with executive plus all of the m packages including the suspension. Blacked out version looks outrageously cool imo.

I’ve now had this car for a couple days (some fun driving and commuting) and I’m dumbfounded. This car drives like a dream and is so much fun. Immensely comfortable, great interior, and feels supremely capable on the road.

So many people on Reddit told me this car was hideous and going to drive like a disconnected boat. It’s actually been such a joy 🥹
