Road trip ready!
I have been looking into on board entertainment for my kids while on roadtrips. I really wanted something factory installed but the cost was ridiculous and functionality seemed lacking. I also didn't like the idea of wiring anything aftermarket into my fuse box. These newer Pilot's have a bunch of electronics and the last thing I need is electrical issues. Unfortunately, Honda doesn't offer any OEM options.
I opted for some Ipads and purchased headrest mounts. I used coiled cables for charging, so i dont have wires everywhere. Also purchased 3 Bluetooth headphones. The mounts can extend out, tilt, pan and spin. So you can pretty much get any viewing angle.
Im going to add two more Ipads for the 3rd row seats eventually. I actually purchased refurbished Ipads and they came out pretty inexpensive. They wont be used for much more than Youtube, Music, Netflix, and some Web Browsing. Older models work just fine.
