a long rant after over 2 months of reflecting
I really wish some OT7 people realize the more they try to bring back hee the more it looks like the boys need him. I understand they miss him. I do to. But I feel like its gonna get us nowhere. Deep down I think I know hee wanted to go solo, or at the very least release a solo song, and as much as I sound delusional I do think there was something else that forced the solo to happen way early than it did.
But i sincerely understand and support hee if it really was his choice to go solo right now (even tho deep down i feel like it was kinda selfish that he left the boys hanging having to adjust) and at the very least if this is the path he thinks is best for him. I wish him the best.
And I might sound like an asshole for this next point. But I think its nice that the other six gets to shine now that he left. Whether we admit it or not, his presence over-shines the others, which is why i think some OT7 swears the other six needs him.
For me its like there are two versions of OT7, one is the people who genuinely feel like the group needs hee. the other they just wish the 7 is still 7 but will support them all even as separate.
I also hate the Hee stans. Like you could really tell they hated the group and only stan because of him. I have a friend who is a hee bias and although they still love the boys. they plan to sing the original gbogh fanchant. Even if the boys repeatedly imply they wanted engenes to use the new ones.
To continue on the hee stans. I find it so annoying that they hate every single thing that the six do. Ni-ki calling Jay the eldest hyung, jaywon addressing the OT7/6. Ni-ki calling them six members.
I wish engenes can move on the same way the boys are doing now. I think its alright to miss them as seven. But its better to accept them as Six and one as a solo is.
Moving on doesnt mean you dont miss them as seven, it means you will support them as six. If you genuinely want to see them as seven only. Just leave the fandom, if you dont see how its affecting the six then you are a problem.
