Hi,

I'm trying to map out a route to becoming competent as a footcare nurse.

I am looking at Mohawk College in Hamilton, ON. Their microcredential program consists of 3 courses (actually 4 if you count the Preplacement course).

• Basic Footcare -21hrs-$153.02
• Advanced Footcare-21hrs-$153.02
• Field Placement- 16hrs-$147

--> I am wondering if anyone has completed this program and can speak to its ability to prepare you for independent practice. Is the Field placement course mandatory

--> Has anyone taken the FootCanada course? Seems wayyy overpriced relative to the college program. Any insight here?
