I decided to play a little Apex after taking a break for almost 20 seasons, and holy shit, am I getting my ass kicked. I used to play solo vs duos/solo vs trios mostly, now I can barely do anything in trios v trios.
Not only do I suck (expected since I haven't played in years), but matchmaking keeps placing me against 20k+ double/triple stacks, just like back in the day.
I was expecting the game to take into account that I haven't played in years, but no, it's putting me in the same lobbies it used to years ago. I'm 21 games in and I am yet to see an average player.
What can I do to get into weaker lobbies? I was hoping for a nice chill nostalgic session, returning to what was my favorite game back in the day. After 2 hours I'm leaving tired, frustrated and disappointed.
Do I just have to make a new account?
