Is it worth changing a 2018 soul timing chain, or should I I just get a new soul?

I recently found out that I need to change the timing chain and I’m not sure if it’s worth it to fix it or should I get a new soul? I have 84k miles and about $600 left to pay off my car 🥲. I’d only get about 5k for my car and would have to pay $10-15k for the rest of the new car (certified preowned). Anyone have any luck changing the timing chain or have an estimate of how much that costs for a Kia soul?

Is my 2018 worth saving or should I just move on?

Ive had my 2018 soul since 2020 and i love it! It’s my dream car and I’ve had no issue up until late last year. Upon starting most mornings, it would make a grinding sound, stall to start, and has been going through oil like crazy (if you wanna hear the sound you can check my recent post in a different thread). I got a new starter and battery but it still kept happening and no one’s been able to find out what it is until I took it to a Kia dealership yesterday ( diagnosis in picture). My question is, has anyone with a soul had this issue before and been able to fix it? If not, I want to get a new car and the soul seems to be the only one that I like. I’m so upset because I have $600 left on this car and about 83k miles smh. Have the 2022-2025 versions been good since they “fixed” the engine issue? I’d love another soul but would hate to have to do this all over again in a few years. I would ask other subreddits about this, but for some reason they seem to really hate the Kia soul.

Also, i was thinking of getting another carvana car and they’re about 16k for around 30k miles. Is that worth it?
