is this the correct wiring for an XLR Y split, with a ground lift switch implimented?
basically just checking i've put the ground lift switch in the right place and that i'm generally onto the right direction

Hey all - I'm in the process of building my own 16 channel mic split for my IEM rack, as behringer are poopyfaces and don't seem to be keen on shipping any more MS8000s to New Zealand for the next 12836 years.
As I have been told the MS8000s are basically Y cables in a box, I'm gonna grab 16 female and 32 male XLR connectors, wire them up as Y cables and BAM I've just made two of my own MS8000 splitters.
My question is about ground lifts - I understand the basics of what a ground loop is and the benifits of having a lift to eliminate the hum etc, however this is my first time doing anything circuitry or wiring alligned and I have basically zero clue on how to impliment any sort of ground lift into the system.
Would anyone be able to explain how I would wire up a per-channel ground lift switch (or even a ground lift on all channels if that is more applicable in this situation), the button to be able to do so and any more information that I would find relevant? Possibly providing some circuit diagrams or telling me if I need to get my hands on a PCB/components, or if it is all done in the wiring between connectors? I legit have no idea haha
I've also heard about adding transformer isolation to the FOH channels, if this is easily done/essential to my progress I would love to hear as well, however my inital goal is to make the passive split with ground lifts and go from there
I appreciate all of your time in helping me understand all of this!
Hey gang, I'm based in New Zealand (Welly) and I'm currently working on an IEM rack build. I to get my hands on 2x 8 channel mic splitters (or 1x 16 channel) for the rack. Now the obvious choice would be the MS8000s from Behringer, however the supply for anything Behringer is poo poos all around the world at the moment.
The next option up seems to be the Art s8, but that comes to almost $1500 for both, whereas I could spend 300 dollars on 2x MS8000s and get (mostly) the same result
Does anyone have any insights into any options on getting my hands on some mic splitters in NZ, or even any insight into what the Behringer shipping situation is to this part of the world?
Cheers!
