Can someone explain why there is always drama in the storm chasing community

Example just today. A whole big thing about giving videos of tornadoes out for free or something.

Had an evil max velocity dream last night

He was telling people to leave their house and drive west (right into the tornado emergency). He maniacally laughed while one of his storm chasers filmed like 100 cars being thrown hundreds of yards by a massive wedge.
