Something simple that helped my TMJ pain
I’ll keep this short. At first, I didn’t know my pain was related to TMJ. I had a severe toothache on the bottom right side, so I went to the dentist. They told me I was clenching my teeth, and I started using a mouth guard, but it didn’t help at all.
After a few weeks, I went back to different clinic, and the doctor said I had TMJ. They recommended massage therapy and physiotherapy. I tried both for a couple of weeks, and while it got a little better, the pain didn’t completely go away.
Later, I was talking to my sister, and she suggested trying castor oil after reading online that it can help with muscle tension. She thought it might help me too. I started applying it before bed and during the day, and I actually felt some relief the next day. After a couple of days, I was feeling much better.
I got mine off Amazon for around $15, and I was honestly shocked by the difference. If you’re dealing with TMJ pain, it might be worth trying. You can check pretty much any castor oil on Amazon, just make sure it’s cold pressed and hexane free.
