I was prescribed a 10 day supply of Sulfamethoxazole-TMP after my insurance denied the xifaxan. I’ve had SIBO (hydrogen) for a long time and was just diagnosed. I’m worried a 10 day supply isn’t enough to completely kill off the bacteria. Should I ask my dr for a 14 day dose or has anyone had success with the 10 day supply?
