Temperature advice

I live in Asia where the weather is hot and my mixed-reef tank is currently placed in a non-airconditioned room. Without a cooling fan, the water in my 55L tank can go up to 30-31 degrees celsius (86-87.8F). I have since added a cooling fan which brought down the temp to a stable 28 degree celsius (82.4F) but the evaporation is quite significant (1L/day) and worrisome when I am out for travelling for a week+.

Should I get:

Automatic top off system to counteract the evaporation

or

Aquarium chiller to further bring down the temp to 26 degrees celsius (78.8F) and remove the downsides of cooling with a fan.

Is it worth to chase the 26 degrees celsius (78.8F)? I've read that 26 is quite a sweet spot for corals to thrive as compared to 28 degrees celsius (82.4F) Perhaps anyone who has been reefing and found success with their corals in 28 degrees celsius (82.4F) could share their experience.

Thanks in advance!
