I just purchased a 2025 Colorado WT. the towing capacity is 3500 but it seems like it can be up to 7500. I have called my local dealership and they are no help at all. They told me they have no idea how to increase the towing capacity. Does anyone here have any helpful information? I would really appreciate it. I need to pull a cargo trailer but want to do it safely.
