How can I achieve this look? I have thick straight hair. Traditionally I have been keeping it more of a comb over style but not pushing it back like this but still working on the length. I have previously used a clay and currently use a cheap pomade from Target. Because my hair is thick with pomade and no blow drying it can fall flat. I am thinking I’ll need something at the root to hold up like a texture powder. Since it’s so thick my hair can also lack texture at times. I’m not sure if I should look for a sea salt spray, texture powder, or a texture spray. Would the steps be: texture spray/powder, blow dry, clay to finish?
