40lbs Down since Jan 12th

40lbs Lost since Jan 12th

Male Age 33 6ft

Starting Weight 296lbs (Pre Reta starting Weight 307lbs not on my graph)

Current weight 256lbs

I first posted my progress when I lost 18lbs in under 30 days. I then lost lost 30lbs in 9 weeks. And I've now lost 40lbs in 16 weeks. Looking at my graph there was a slup in the graph around March/April due to access to reta. I then restarted Reta at 2mg at the end of April. I also had a major binge in April on my wife's birthday which lead to a huge amount of water weight gain as you can see with the large spike.

Some background I've been strength training for a few years. I have always been fat since childhood.

I'm following a protein sparing modified fast, specifically RFL by Lyle McDonald.

900-1300 Calories per day. 1-2 Free meals per week (eat one meal of whatever I want, nothing crazy )

180-200g protein per day, trace carbs and fat.

Electrolytes, omega 3, multivitamin and creatine supplemented.

I have maintained strength on all compound lifts training three days a week focused mainly on compound lifts.

cardio 9 miles a week ( walking to the gym and back)

visually I do not appear to have lost any muscle. I'm just looking a lot more cut.

I've decided to post pictures this time.
