Just re-watched it. I know the premise of this is kinda problematic and not aged well (but they somewhat redeem it in the end?) and it's also a little unrealistic (but what rom coms really are 🤷🏽♀️) but i really love the chemistry between Anna Ferris and Chris Evans, it was a slow build and they genuinely show him falling for her - which I find lacking in movies these days or they just shlep it together in a montage and its done. I really enjoy Evans in these asshole fuckboi with hidden depth kinda roles lol he plays it really well and it's also a decent comedy - Faris has always had her own type of comedy style which just works for her and she does well. The ending confessional scene i though was a little underwhelming but overall just a decent good rom-com i think.
