What it does is simple;

You can install the vpk, and scan the qr code or just go to vitadrop.local to see your files wirelessly from browser.

It was a hobby project to me for a saturday evening. But I can develop it more based on need.

A while back, I released my very first homebrew, Vita Screen Test (a simple tool to check for OLED burn-in). It started as a learning project, and the support from this community was awesome.

Today, I am beyond excited to share my second—and much bigger—contribution with you all. Meet VitaDrop!

I wanted a way to manage Vita files without dealing with USB cables, and honestly, I was tired of downloading clunky FTP clients on my PC and phone just to transfer a simple .vpk or pull a save file. So, I turned the PS Vita into a fully functional wireless file server with a modern web interface.

• ~~🛡~~️**~~ OLED-Safe & VitaShell Re~~ady: It prevents auto-sleep and screen dimming during transfers so your connection won't drop. Plus, you can~~ pres~~s ~~SQ**UARE to instantly launch VitaShell when you're ~~done!

I poured a lot of time into making this as fast, reliable (double-buffered I/O under the hood), and user-friendly as possible.

I really hope this makes managing your Vita a lot smoother and completely replaces the need for FTP for most of you.
