I am getting my CDL training but wondering if I could find a job where I’m home daily and weekends off that is local? I know it’s probably a pipe dream but wondering what you would recommend (where to look/best companies)? Thanks everyone! I live in Illinois (DuPage county)

So, way back in 2012 I had a student teaching experience that went well. I got three solid references and got a job after. Unfortunately I had to quit to health reasons and have been subbing since. I went back to school to get my LBS1 as I want to be a resource teacher in elementary. I am one class shy. My problem is since it is an endorsement it doesn’t require student teaching experience but I want one not just to learn the job more in depth but to also get a replacement for three letters of recommendation. I substitute taught in Clark county Nevada from 2016-2020 and in Illinois from 2020- present.

Does anyone have any advice on how to find a second student teaching experience in an LbS1 (self contained classroom) or in a special education resource classroom? I appreciate it!
