Sometimes I feel like the only person alive under 30 who feels so inspired by Rollins. I never really come across ppl my age who are as knowledgeable about his work or music. Sure, they "know" about Black Flag or maybe they've heard Kurt Cobain talk about Black Flag, but I never see young people or people my age talk about Rollins Band.
Sometimes I feel like an alien or inhuman. I feel isolated and can only talk to older people about my interests. Which is fine! I'm not saying it's bad to talk to older people, but there will always be some sort of generational divide. Woe is me I suppose.
