Hello there, I want to make my own lip balm using lanolin, shea butter, and a bit of glycerin. I currently use just lanolin, which is good, but it doesnt hydrate my lips at all so they stay in the same condition as they were before I put it on. I have been reading about shea butter and have seen that there is both refined and unrefined versions and I have a few questions;

1. How noticeable is the taste of unrefined shea butter and what does it taste like?

2. How mixable is unrefined compared to the refined version?

3. Is there much reason to use the unrefined compared to the refined?

4. I see that Amazon has quite a few different products and I was wondering what I should look out for and which brands are typically better?

I have been slowly dealing with my limerence, though only so fast as I still have to see her most days at work, and in the last month she has been flirting with one of the other guys. The first part I noticed was that he made a subtle comment and she then said something flirtatious back to him, then a few weeks later she was awfully drunk and they were heavily flirting. She also confirmed it when I was talking to her about it all a few days later.

I have no idea what she even sees in him as he is quite argumentative and a bit of a dick when he gets going. Obviously I would like to be in his situation, but that's not healthy.

I only have a month left before I will likely never see her again so I can start fully processing everything.

On another note, talking to people vaguely about this is miserable because their solution, as they view my issue as unrequited love, is to get out and meet other women, which is just kicking the can down the road. I'm not even entirely sure whether I will ever fully get over this as I am struggling to get out and meet people to fill that social void I have inside of me. Not to mention that my birthday is coming up which is also likely to be overly sad because no one ever remembers even when I keep telling them when they ask. I've even given not-so-subtle hints to them that I want to go out socialising and drinking but that was met with a joke about having my mum pick us up, which I've mentioned before is a major thing stopping me as it wouldn't be fair to have her be up all night for me.
