Unacceptable Bus Performance
Today’s example: on the D80 this evening, up near Friendship Heights, there was a gap in service for ~40 minutes followed by three bunched up buses. No traffic or accidents on the route. This was just south of the terminus, where adjusting the schedule to maintain headways is easiest. Completely unacceptable performance, especially for one of the busiest routes which WMATA insists is a top priority. It’s like Clarke and his team aren’t even trying to make the bus better.
Edit: and naturally, someone is blasting music while other people loudly fight. “World-class transit” this most certainly is not.
