What size platform should we build for our ceremony?
After getting a few (outrageous) quotes to rent a platform for our ceremony, my brother has agreed to help me build our own. If it will just be me, my fiancé, and our officiant on the platform with a wooden cross behind us, how big does it really need to be? My brother initially started planning for an 8 feet x 10 feet platform, but I’d like to buy as few materials as possible for the project. Is 6 feet x 6 feet big enough? Can we get away with 4 feet x 6 feet?
