B2 approved for my parents today in Delhi with Telugu interpreter.
Thanks to all the helpful posts about the experiences about the interviews. Biometrics was easy one, took 10 mins start to finish. Today they had consular appointment at 9:10am. Lined up around 9, took 30 mins to finish all the security check. After that they requested for kannada or telugu interpreter. They had telugu lady available. Took the passports and asked the following questions. What’s the proof the visit? Who stays in USA? Their name, date of birth, work details ( daughter and son in law) .on visa they went to USA and when? How long they have been in USA and ther status? What do you do in Bangalore? Dad is retired and mom house wife. Ties in Bangalore. Have 3 more children and their families. Then the visa was approved. No documents were asked. the whole process took about 2 hours.
