I am making a purchase of either Bose or Apple Earbuds next week, hopefully get a good deal in the UK Bank Holiday sales.

I suffer with awful misophonia and was all for getting some Bose buds but have been watching lots of reviews on YouTube today and I am now absolutely torn between the Airpod Pro 3 and the Bose QuietComfort ultra (2nd gen) earbuds. It seems like there are huge pluses for each with the Bose better for Music listening and audiophiles (having an EQ) and ANC being their biggest boon, most saying these are comfier to wear and stay in the ear better, but a slightly higher price. Whereas I use an iPhone17 so connectivity should never be an issue, the AirPods have conversation awareness which I don’t think Bose do, good transparency, better battery life, waterproof if submerged and slightly cheaper price tag.

I also suffer horrendously from anxiety and depression so struggle making decisions like this incase | get something wrong so please Help me out folks, I need to make a decision and STICK TO IT!!!

Hi all, I am definitely buying some Bose over ear phones next week but was also looking at some buds too. I am wondering why reviews for the newest QC ultra are so bad on Amazon? 3.9 out of 5, that’s pretty poor.
I have watched plenty of reviews and kind of set my heart on some but are they really the best ANC? I have Misophonia so it is really really important to me.

Any advice would be tip top thanks!

Hi there, before you all say Neither and give me a bunch of other better suggestions I have come here for some techy type help please. I genuinely am struggling with living at the moment so please help me out and keep sarcasm to a minimum if possible.

I have God awful Misophonia, it is incredibly debilitating and I have been recommended either some Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra 1st of 2nd gen or Sony (something like 1000XM6) because they both have fantastic ANC.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with both and can give me answers to the following please:

First question is simply Which model would you experts pick? And why?

Which are comfiest for the longest time? I am at home a lot with incredibly noisy neighbours, I need something to wear most of the day.

Which have the best ANC? I love music so not losing too much dynamic range when Noise Cancellation
Is activated is essential.
