I had my septic tank pumped 5 years ago, and I had a reminder to check it last weekend. I built a SludgeJudge, opened both chambers, and found there was no scum layer and no sludge layer to speak of.

Would you even bother checking this ever again, or still do it every 5 years? It seems like the system is working better than perfect.
