Desmoxan Schedule?

Hey all! Im starting Desmoxan (cytisine) tomorrow on Wednesday and my quit date is Saturday.

The problem is Saturday I’m awake from 11am, then I have a 1 hour flight at 3am, followed by a 10 hour flight. I’ll be moving backwards 7 time zones as well. I potentially will not be sleeping until 8pm Sunday in my destinations time zone.

The standard day 4-12 schedule is every 2.5 hours, 5 tablets a day — but that’s built around a normal waking day. I have a potential 30 hour waking stretch across two time zones.

My question is: would you just dose every 2.5 hours the entire time you’re awake regardless of daily tablet count, or would you try to stick to 5 a day and space them out across the whole stretch even if that means longer gaps?

I should also mention that I have a second box at home that might be expired but still effective, so running out towards the end of the schedule isn’t a huge issue.

Any advice from people who’ve done a cytisine course appreciated!

What day are you on and how do you feel?

Exactly what the title says! I’m getting ready to quit soon and would love to hear how everyone’s doing

Just purchased desmoxan… I’m scared to quit. Any tips?

I just purchased it. I’ve been vaping for 8 years and have tried to quit twice cold turkey and both times were absolutely miserable. I do not want to be a nicotine addict for life, and that’s my primary motivation. I also am keenly aware that I’m either addicted or I don’t do it at all- there is no in between. I’ve read about these pills here and it really sounds too good to be true so I’m very scared. I’ve been very Addicted to nicotine since I was just a kid, and I’ve gotten to the point where I vape 40+ mg per day. I think I’m not as addicted as some of the people on this sub, as I still sleep undisturbed and can go an hour or two without it, but it’s bad, and it’s become a kind of mental crutch for me. Some words of advice or shared experiences would be very helpful to hear right now 🙏🏼

What actually is a craving?

I’ve heard people describe it in so many different ways that at this point I’m not sure we’re all talking about the same thing. For me, in the context of quitting, it’s when I get a strong mental urge to vape, coupled with anxiety and irritability, and I start obsessively planning how to get it. Is this what you’d call a craving?

Is desmoxan/recigar legit?

I keep seeing so many posts about it. I’m absolutely terrified to quit and have been smoking since I was 16 for 9 years. Are all these posts just bots or what? They seem too good to be true and I’ve also noticed that a few people are responsible for a significant chunk of this comments/posts, making me think it’s a targeted marketing campaign or something.
