I need help deciding which grad school to pick
I'm currently in the grad school decision process for a school psychology program. I've gotten acceptances from three schools so far, one of those being Columbia University. While this is a great opportunity, I'd probably end up with around $150k in debt after graduation, plus NYC is across the country for me. I have an offer from a local university that's practically offering to pay for my grad school entirely. The other offer is from a university in a nearby state and they're offering me some scholarships, but I'd still end up in a much smaller amount of debt compared to Columbia. I'm waiting to hear from one more school, which also happens to be my dream school, but I only have a few more days to decide where I'm going. Is it worth taking on the debt to attend Columbia? It's worth noting that I did not need to pull out loans for my undergrad, so I'm debt free as of right now. I also really want to try something new and go out of state, which is why I'm stumped on the offer from my local university. The third option (which is cheap-ish and out of state) sounds great, but I'm not sure if my heart is set on that program.
