I have several Vanda, and they are all at least 30-40 years old. I am in Central Florida, and we had really cold weather and several days of freezing temperatures. The lowest was 15 degrees. This particular Vanda has some really large roots all of a sudden 🤔. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? I inherited all of my dad's plants several years ago and am doing my best at keeping them alive. This particular Vanda has a bud forming currently, so it seems to be okay. I just have never seen any of them have such thick roots.
I love caladium season.
They make me happy 😊.
