In the end, everyone settled
I feel like none of the younger generation characters ends up making the best decision for themselves, they all take the easier route to stick with what they know. Ephraim should have gone to Julliard, even if he chooses teaching in the end, Hannah should have gone to Notre Dame, community college didn't make sense for her. Amy should have gone to any of those ivy league options, they all settled. Bright was messy and needed to keep it in his pants long enough to get established anywhere. Did Andy and Nina make sense? Possibly but it was too rushed for it to really make sense.
