should i change uni
Hello currently in last sem of foundation in Curtin University. Basically im considering changing universities post foundation.
Issues with curtin:
Admin causing issues repeatedly with activities such as us hosting a tourney but being hindered by slow processing of our own funds, approval etc etc.
Finance department causing issues with tuition fee as a sponsorship holder
Lecturers are not helpful in anyway and just do the bare minimum
Environment is meh with mid facilities and a boring community that is way too lax in academics etc etc
Employability and Cert concerns with the rise of influx student due to FTES that dont even seem like they should be engineering (they r failing basic maths and r allowed to retake many times with curtin doing their best to somehow slot them in with extra credit via assignments or retest)
My current GPA is 3.8 and predicted to be 3.94
Have decent - good extracurriculars with vice pres positions in societies
Currently considering applying to swap degrees to
UTP
Monash (with hopes of successful yayasan sarawak loan)
any opinions?
Whats holding me back is the fact that i qualify for FTES and could get a free degree in Curtin University. Would appreciate everyone’s two cents.
