I used to work in China and have salary credited to my account in China merchant bank. After I quit the job, the final payment (including insurance, pf etc) settled to my china bank account after I returned to india, so i could not transfer the money to india before my return. As per the china bank I need to present in person to make overseas transaction. Now I can't travel to china due to visa unavailability. I can access my funds through bank app, which I can use it to transfer to local friends in china but not overseas. I have all the proofs of amount deposited to my account and salary slips with tax paid in china. I have chinese friends who can help me transfer to my india bank account (SBI). What is the remittance purpose we can mention to bank in india to receive from overseas friends? What are the options for me to receive funds without double taxation?
