This mom has been nesting in our pond for 6+ years now. Today was their first time out of the nest, but only 2 babies to show. With all the storms and I’m pretty sure this is husband #2, it’s been a rough spring for her so glad she at least had a couple. Hopefully the snapping turtles dont pick them off like they did a few last year 😬
I do like the stitching pattern better this year but I don’t think the designs were as cute. There was only one matching style between kids and adults and I’m pretty sure last year there were 2. One thing I’m disappointed about in is the heel, especially for such a plain design. Just slapping the Disney logo on there and nothing for the kids. My previous ones from 2023? had a cute heel detail as well with a Mickey head. I will say my ones from last year held up a lot better than those 2023 ones, which had started cracking pretty quickly. Hopefully this years holds up better too.
