hi, I got waitlisted in ateneo which lost my chances to receive financial aid. I come from a middle class family with a single mom, and I had been receiving 50% financial aid in my entire high school years. ateneo is my dream school, but my mother and I agreed before that I will only be allowed to continue to ateneo if I receive financial aid, kasi hindi talaga kakayanin yung tuition. It’s also too risky and uncertain for me to wait for my second year to receive financial aid.

I don’t want to feel like I’m easily giving up on my dreams when it also feels like it’s already at the tip of my fingers. what can I do about my situation? are there other external scholarships I can look for?

or should I just let go of ateneo?
