EY NYC Audit
I’m an audit staff in a small EY office and I’m thinking about transferring to a larger office like NYC in the future. I’m trying to understand what the day-to-day life is actually like there before making that decision. For those who have worked at EY NYC (or other Big 4s):
- What industries/clients are most common?
- How often do you have to travel to client sites outside Manhattan?
- What are typical hours like? How often do teams go in-person?
- Where do most audit staff/seniors live (Manhattan vs Brooklyn vs Queens vs Jersey City/Hoboken)?
- Do you feel like you actually get to enjoy NYC while working in audit, or are you mostly working/commuting?
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
