[Texas] Unemployment Claim Denied after Layoff because of Severance Payment?
I was laid off April 10th in Texas.
I was given a severance package and had to sign a termination agreement. It was a company wide restructuring.
Texas's unemployment office called me yesterday asking questions about my claim. They asked if I received any final funds. I confirmed I was given a severance with my PTO and 3 months of salary as my job was outsourced to India.
Today I got a letter for Texas stating 1 am disqualified for unemployment because I received a severance payment.
Anyone have any advice or help?

Reason for Decision: The additional payment you received from your last employer disqualifies you.
