If you receive a suspicious email or message

We want to remind the campus community that busy times, like the end-of-term, are used by fraudsters to make scams seem legitimate. Scams can be disguised as missed payments, service disruptions, account issues, or urgent deadlines.

Do not click links in unexpected or unsolicited emails or text messages. CPP staff, faculty, or our third party partners will NEVER ask for:

  • Login credentials
  • MFA/Duo authentication
  • Sensitive personal information

If you receive a suspicious email, forward it to suspectemail@cpp.edu and/or identify it as phishing/spam using Microsoft Outlook.
