I had an iron infusion 3 weeks ago.
1000mg Ferinject. It was fine, no side effects.

I’m still feeling the same as before. I’ve had a few odd days where I feel slightly energised, but most days I’m fatigued, unmotivated, unable to focus on tasks, and still experiencing headaches.

I believe it’s too early to retest my blood.
For context my serum iron was 5, ferritin 30. HG was normal, as was vit D.

Has anybody else experienced this? Is it normal to take so long to improve?
My doctor said “a couple of weeks” and I’d be back to normal.
