Pendant Update
I inherited this brooch from my Grandmother. I don't wear brooches so I wanted to turn it into a pendant. A lot of people advised against it and suggested I just sell it instead, but I'm so glad I didn't. It looks amazing IMO. I went to a local jeweler that I'd taken some broken items to before and they were able to keep a lot of the original design intact. Now it's a beautiful piece that I will actually wear.
