first time buyer advice

hi ladies (24F) looking for advice as a first time gun buyer. I’m used to/comfortable with a glock 19 at the range, so I’m considering just getting that. are there others that might be better? I’m hoping to spend under $500. I’m going to be conceal carrying. also, my area has few gun stores with few options, do you recommend ordering one online to a store here?

urethral diverticulum / skene’s gland / periurethral cyst

hi everyone I’ve had trouble finding info about this particular health issue so wanted to ask here.

my gyno found a 1.3mm cyst and sent me to urology. I hadn’t known it was there, but I realized that the slight discomfort during sex and inserting tampons was due to that. I haven’t had any symptoms like UTI’s or incontinence, and my bladder scan showed as normal. I got a pelvic MRI a few days ago and there was no inflammation or anything bad, could be diverticulum or periurethral.

my urologist was supposed to do my cystoscopy but said he’s “seen all he needed to see” from my MRI and since he “doesn’t do diverticulum surgery” he sent me to some other urologist an hour away. I’m terrified of the cystoscopy and of the idea of having such an intimate surgery (I’ve never had surgery either) and of the idea of a catheter it just makes me feel ill to think about. it’s been emotionally difficult because I don’t feel comfortable discussing it with anyone, especially since it’s apparently “rare”. I’m kind of upset with my urologist just deciding it’s a diverticulum and assuming i’ll need surgery? I’m not completely sure that it’s not just a cyst, because I realized that I think it popped during sex once, and it was super sore for a few days I thought I had an infection, then I guess it filled back up?

this has been really uncomfortable and scary for me, especially because I have health anxiety because my mom passed away 10 days after being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 50. I have no women in my life to talk about this with. if anyone has any advice or stories to share I’d appreciate it. and I hope my post can help others too

sad dad bar suggestions

(24F) visiting kw with my dad (55) this week, hoping to cheer him up because him and his gf just broke up (she was actually supposed to go on this vacation with him, not me lol). looking for bar suggestions that aren’t too wild that I can take him to (he’s not a huge drinker). his favorite bars are kid rocks in nashville and billy jacks if that helps lol
