MSC world america disembarkation

We are looking at flights to go back home after our cruise on August 8th. We always disembark ourselves, and have usually been off the boats we’ve been on at around 8-8:30am. However we’ve never been on WA and also aren’t familiar with Miami. Only sailed out of Port Canaveral and NYC.

If we have a flight for 1:40pm out of FLL (Fort Lauderdale airport), would that be enough time for us to get there and clear customs (going back to Canada)? I feel the answer to this is yes, but just want some input from people who have been there to be sure.

MSC World America recommendations?

My family and I just booked the Aurea experience on the World America in August! We are all adults (21+), and are really looking forward to this trip!

What were / are your favourite things on the World America? What should we make sure to check out?

We’re also doing the itinerary that goes to Honduras, Costa Maya and Cozumel. We’ve been to Costa Maya and Cozumel before, but I’m still interested to hear what your favourite things were there if you’ve been, and if there’s something you thought would’ve been better than it was.

We are looking to cruise on the World America this summer and are considering doing the Aurea package this time. We’ve cruised with MSC 5 times before (on the seaside and meraviglia) and the only things we ever really “complained” about were dining times and sometimes access to loungers. This will be our first time on the World America.

Therefore, the anytime dining and access to the Solarium are very appealing to us as they sound like they’d solve both of those issues! Curious what your experience has been with or without Aurea and if you believe it’s worth the extra $350-$450? How is the solarium on WA? We aren’t really pool people, moreso lounge and hot tub people. And how did the anytime dining work?

I’m also curious about access to the thermal area, do you need an appointment or can you go in anytime? It’s not something we’ve done before, but we’d take advantage of it if we had access!

Thanks in advance!
