Ajuda-me a entrar para uma equipa de futebol

My girlfriend is from Braga and we recently moved here. I am 36 years old and would like to find an 11-aside team to join. Back in Ireland I used to play Saturday/Sunday league, so I am looking for an amateur but competitive league/team.
I have gone to watch some games from the AF Braga District League at Rodovia - teams like GD Peões, Sete Fontes and Soarense - and I think I could maybe play at that level if I was fully fit. Maybe not Soarense, they are the league leaders and are very good.
The problem is the majority of players appear to be in their 20s with only some over 30. Would they accept players like me?
Does anyone have advice on the best way to find a team? I understand Portuguese a lot better than I speak it, and I am getting better the longer I am here.
