What is a good funding package?
I was accepted to a masters program in LA with funding, but I'm not sure how good of a package it actually is since the cost of living in so high there. I would be getting free tuition and a stipend of ~$1575 per month from TA work and grants. I am studying geology and all of my professors have told me that I should not be going into debt for a masters. This just seems like not a lot of funding compared to what people I know are receiving. Is this good funding?
