Classic Space Mini Fighter

Fun little spare parts build - a Classic Space mini fighter!  It features wings that sweep back when not in flight.  This uses classic space pieces exclusively, but I did get a little creative with the building techniques. The front lasers use gray goblets - I can’t remember what set they came in (maybe a Castle set?), but they were pretty rare, so back in the day, me and my friends always thought they were extra-powerful, lol.  They also made great lightsabers in the pre-licensed era!

Lego Ideas M-Tron Color Conundrum

Hey M-Tron fans!  I’m working on my first-ever Lego Ideas submission and I need your feedback!  The build will feature M-Tron, but I guess Lego doesn’t make that sweet trans-neon-yellow color that our favorite magnet team uses.  So, question:  Should I submit my build with trans-neon-yellow anyway, or will that eventually disqualify it?  Should I design it with regular trans yellow instead?  Or should I strategically avoid it and just sub in more black, light gray, and maybe clear bits??  Here are some examples - what do you think I should do?

  1. Design it with trans-neon-yellow (true to theme);
  2. Design it with regular trans-yellow (stole it from Blacktron...?)
  3. Design it with more black/gray/clear(?).

Let me know what you think! I was going to make this a poll, but adding images was too challenging, so it's a regular post. I appreciate your feedback!!

Highly Swooshable Futuron Cargo Ship (and Spaceport)

Hey spaceship enjoyers!! Check out my Futuron Cargo Ship - it starts out ensconced in the depths of this giant spaceport, but the roof plates open up to reveal the ship for takeoff. The ship is docked in an upright position, with the cockpit rotated 90 degrees forward to allow a bridge to connect to the docking platform. Once the crew is on board, the cockpit rotates to th upright position and locks in via technic pins. The ship's hold can stow a combination of three M-tron containers or pairs of Space Police jail cells. After lift-off, the wings rotate out from their locked positions.
