Ok...hear me out. Angels are frequently referenced as stars.

The stars and wheels Ezekiel describes in his vision have the properties of planets and galaxies.

I was wondering if anyone had any information on what used to be visible with the naked eye in terms of astronomy in ancient Babylon.

Also would he have had access to concave glass to make binoculars or somehow magnify what he could have potentially observed and wove into his prophecy?

I think that is the closet nebula to us called, "The Helix Nebula" or "The Eye of God." It is where stars die and are redistribute their material into new stars.
