Tesla Model 3 Black Screen of Death. Does it still charge? Already tried holding down the scroll buttons and nothing happens
Hi Everyone,
My model 3 got the black screen of death around 4 days ago. I have tried holding the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel but it won't work. Tried it with the break held too.
The car drives but nothing on the screen works. The app wont connect anymore either besides allowing me to unlock the car and drive. I have been charging it but I am worried it is not charging, More so, I don't know if it is actually charging and to what percentage since I cant see it.
Im nervous about battery drainage because when the black screen of death happend, the AC was set to the coldest option and on 10 speed, and it wont stop running for the last 4 days, full blast AC all day and night, nothing i can do to stop it, since the app wont connect either.
My main concern/question is battery charging until i can get it fixed. Does anyone know if when I do plug it in the charger and the T on the tesla charger port flashes green, does that mean it is charging? I would think it is charging right?
Does anyone know if the car still charges if the T is blinking? I think I have it set to 80% before the black screen so it might be charging pretty much full. I am just nervous my car will die on the road since I dont konw how much battery is in the car.
Please help and if anyone knows how to fix this black screen of death please help me with suggestions. I already have tried the scroll button holding down 100 times, the car wont even accept any updates.
