Failed Turkish Delights
Oh my lord. I spent hours simmering the mix (despite the recipes predicted time). I mean, just one step is to simmer for "1 hour". that took longer anyway.
I left it to set overnight, took it out, and found it to still not be solid. put it back in the pan and cooked again but it still never fully set.
I probably made a mistake at mixing the syrup and cornflour mix bc it was also lumpy - tastes great though! just be warned of the HOURS required.

When the eyes shot the (I think head-) teacher my entire body genuinely jumped. I could see it coming and it wasn't even the most graphic of either THT or TT but for some reason had me in a state of shock for a few minutes unlike any of the other deaths/murders.
Maybe because it is the only we have seen in the real world outside of Gilead.

Used the recipe from Rainbow Nourishments bit should have baked for longer
Changes I made:
- only had a bigger tin that made it quite shallow
- used closer to 1 cup of blueberries
- covered the blueberries in flour so they wouldn't sink
