Visiting Penang mid July
My husband and son, 10, will be visiting Penang, Ipoh and then to KL mid July for 6 days.
I was planning out all the different places I went to see within Penang island like the durian plantation and tropical fruit places but they are like far from Georgetown.
Is it easy to get Grab even in those places? Or I should really coordinate a private driver for the day?
Then at Ipoh, is it easy to get a Grab and just use that as our method of transportation to go see the different attractions?
Is the train from Butterworth to Ipoh easy? I can’t seem to see the train schedule/ timing yet 2 months out - I can’t tell if it’s because they haven’t posted yet or it’s not available in mid July.
I don’t really want to spend the RM3000 for private driver if I can speak Cantonese and read the language.
Any experience would be great!
