Belgium Visa Timeline (India – April) : r/SchengenVisa
My Belgium Schengen visa was refused with the following reason:
>* (2) The purpose and the circumstances of the intended stay have been insufficiently demonstrated. The person concerned wishes to travel to the Tomorrowland festival. The person concerned submitted a reservation for Tomorrowland Thailand and a ticket for Tomorrowland Belgium, but it cannot be verified whether the ticket was issued by an official distributor. The authenticity of the ticket cannot be verified. For this reason, there is doubt about the credibility of the declared travel motivation and travel destination.
Has anyone dealt with a similar refusal for Belgium?
Just to clarify, I have a Tomorrowland MG Weekend 2 ticket personalized in my name, which I purchased during the Worldwide Sale. I attached a printout of the Tomorrowland account ticket page as well as a letter from Tomorrowland support confirming that the ticket is genuine.
Would it be better to appeal, or is it smarter to reapply with stronger documents?
Any advice or personal experiences would really help. Thanks.
